MIT Course: AI for Energy Solutions
Created and taught AI for Energy Solutions course at MIT in January 2025 (supported by MIT Energy Initiative and Sloan Sustainability Initiative). Over 1,000 people from across industry and academia applied to be part of the course.

Simulation Game about Climate Entrepreneurship and AI with US Department of Energy
Co-developed a simulation game about climate entrepreneurship and AI as part of a U.S. Department of Energy project that helps startups and climate innovators navigate complex federal energy incentives and programs. The tool uses large language models to simulate decision-making scenarios and provide strategic feedback, helping users align innovation pathways with real-world funding and policy opportunities. Piloted game at ARPA-E Summit.

Wrote articles about climate tech for Forbes, Climate Capital Insights and Linkedin. Topics included quantum computing applications to climate, sustainable finance, climate policy, and more.
Climate Tech Angel Investing Program
Led and co-instructed Climate Angels, an educational program on climate tech angel investing with team members from Terra and 500 Global, and speakers and mentors from Lowercarbon Capital, MCJ Collective, Earthshot, Planeteer Capital, Climactic, etc.

Created Launchpad Program for High-Potential Entrepreneurs
Brought some of Canada’s top CEOs and investors together over 10 weeks with 10 young entrepreneurs selected by application, ending with a cumulative pitch to some of Canada’s top investment firms (Rogers Ventures, Blackberry Partners Fund, etc).

AI Tools for Climate Entrepreneurs
Developed AI tools for climate startups with MIT professor, MIT Climate Policy Center, and more. Developed multiple AI tools (policy analysis, location targeting, market analysis, etc.) using StackAI, GPTs, and other platforms. Tools were piloted in MIT's Climate and Energy Ventures class (which has had 60+ spinout companies and $5B raised) and beyond.
AI Tools for Climate Tech Startup Competition
Serving as Managing Director of ClimaTech's Great Global Innovation Challenge. Created website and AI technology tools for startup selection.
AI Chatbots for En-ROADS Climate Policy Simulator
Developed AI-powered facilitators that integrate with the En-ROADS climate policy simulator to support climate negotiation education and policy exploration.The bots help users—from students to actual COP delegates—prepare for negotiations by guiding them through policy impacts, asking reflective questions, and modeling decision-making dynamics. These tools were piloted with climate negotiators during COP29 and in MIT’s Climate and Energy Ventures course.

Smart Home Agent
This project was created as part of MIT's Hands-on Deep Learning class. It is a Smart Home AI Agent that leverages: OpenAI API for energy price analysis & automation, ComEd & Bayou APIs for real-time & historical electricity data, Neural Networks (DNN) for future energy demand prediction, and Gradio Web UI for easy user interaction
Deep Learning for Solar Panel Fault Detection
This project is an example from the AI for Energy Solutions course at MIT's Independent Activities Period (IAP) that we taught. It showcases how deep learning and image classification can be applied to energy infrastructure monitoring. The system is a web application that detects and classifies faults in solar panels, capable of analyzing: clean panels, physical damage, and electrical damage. The project is designed to be accessible, beginning with a no-code approach using Google Teachable Machine, and optionally extending to coding and deployment for students looking to delve deeper into development.
Deep Learning for Wind Energy Forecasting
This study compares the performance of traditional machine learning models against advanced deep learning architectures, for renewable energy and demand forecasting. By analyzing historical weather, energy generation, and temporal data, the research evaluates prediction accuracy for solar, wind, and electricity demand over consistent time periods.
Machine Learning for Renewable Energy Forecasting
The Energy Generation Forecast Dashboard is a comprehensive solution that empowers grid operators to make informed decisions and optimize their renewable energy operations. Powered by advanced AI and machine learning, the dashboard delivers precise, real-time predictions for wind, solar, and demand patterns, enabling operators to balance supply and demand, maximize renewable energy generation, and minimize costly inefficiencies. This dashboard provides energy generation forecasts using machine learning models trained on historical data.
Energy Insights for Consumers Tool
Created a tool to empower homeowners and renters with actionable information to optimize their energy usage, reduce costs, and take advantage of available incentives. The tool provides tailored recommendations for energy efficiency upgrades using advanced AI technologies. Challenge Category Winner: Real-Time Energy Insights for Consumers at Hack for the Planet, presented by Terra.do and WattTime.org.

Developed climate tech hardware kit and educational course with 20 projects to empower users to learn and invent climate solutions.

Conceived an intuitive and efficient registration software for MakerKids, streamlining the enrollment process for various tech-based educational programs. Its user-centric design and seamless workflow enhanced user experience and significantly increased leads.
Educator's Digital Assistant
Pioneered LessonWiseAI, an intelligent platform designed to assist educators with tailor-made lesson plans and resources. The platform stands out for its integration of OpenAI's GPT-3 and its user-focused interface.
AI-Powered Character Generator
Spearheaded the creation of BarbieQuiz, an innovative web application that crafts unique Barbie character descriptions and images using AI. This project showcased a blend of cutting-edge image technology with language models to offer an engaging and user-friendly experience.

Crafted a state-of-the-art chatbot system centered around facilitating Python coding education. Leveraging PyTorch and extensive datasets, it provides real-time feedback, ensuring coding learners have a supportive learning environment.

Conceptualized and rolled out Dear Aibby, an AI-driven platform designed to offer sage advice on user inquiries. Regularly updated and monitored, it consistently offers quality advice to users seeking insights.
